Jennifer Duckworth's mission is to empower audiences with environmental education to promote better understanding of our connection to the earth.
Jennifer provides environmental presentations for organizations and businesses. Passion is what sets her apart. With almost 20 years of environmental experience from positions held with the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), environmental engineering firms, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and with the Essex County and Millburn Environmental Commissions, Jennifer infuses her presentations with real-world stories and practical information.
A Competent Toastmaster and recipient of the 2008 New Jersey Grassroots Leadership Award, as well as two EPA Bronze Medals, Jennifer is qualified to answer your environmental questions. Jennifer received her M.S. in Environmental Sciences and Policy from The Johns Hopkins University and her B.S. in Civil Engineering with Honors from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
She currently is employed as a wastewater permit expert with Tetra Tech, Inc. (www.tetratech.com), as well as serving as the Co-Chair of the Essex County Environmental Commissionon and as a member of the Rahway River Watershed Stormwater Advisory Board. She has also served on the Board of Trustees at the Cora Hartshorn Arboretum (www.hartshornarboretum.org) and GreenFaith (www.greenfaith.org). When she is not crusading for the environment, Jennifer enjoys raising her two children to be good stewards of the earth.
